Silly adults, the Castro District is for kids! Well, maybe not — but there are still plenty of fun things to do in the Castro if you’re here with your little ones.

This playground is in the heart of Dolores Park (right below Gay Beach), and very close to great food and a beautiful view!

Seward Street Slides
These long concrete slides are a hidden gem in the city. These slides aren’t for tiny tots (you may slide down fast!), and adults must be accompanied by children. Bring a piece of cardboard, wear sturdy pants, and prepare for a joyous ride! Open 9am-5pm.

Under One Roof
This store (full of fun toys, cards and other random goodies) is a non-profit that generates funds for community-based organizations that provide assistance to the HIV/AIDS and LGBT populations. Under One Roof has sold over $11 million in retail merchandise on behalf of these organizations!
