Recently named the "Best of the Gays" by the Bay Area Reporter, the Castro Street Fair is one big gay party you just can’t miss.

Burglary at Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy in the Castro District

Sometime between the evening of August 5th and the morning of August 6th, Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy was burglarized, ransacked and vandalized. Many rooms, including the main office, principal's office, student art room and teacher's resource room along with nearby hallways, were completely trashed. There was paint thrown over everything, files and papers dumped, medical supplies broken, and stamps, school supplies and some office furniture destroyed. Vandals also stole the principal’s laptop and 12 Flip video cameras that were for the students.
