Brewcade™ is the new playground for San Francisco’s generation. As an Arcade Bar or “barcade,” Brewcade™ has the appeal of a vintage industrial establishment featuring 25 beers on tap, a jukebox playing jams, and the inclusion of over 24 classic arcade games (equipped to play over 50 games in all.) Maintaining the creativity and culture that have been long established by the neighborhood and its location , Brewcade™ is a hi-tech bar with a nod to the past. The bar specializes in handcrafted beers, rotating wines on tap, a wide selection of artisan soda pop. The space also offers a small amount of outdoor seating and a selection of bites from their “Munchie Bar.“

After listening to customer feedback, Owner, Shawn Vergara, and General Manager, Kai Villegas, have agreed that the initial design could be improved for more functionality. On May 18th, Brewcade™ opened its doors to a newly designed space.

The newly designed elements include diamond-shaped window panels adorning the front windows to deflect light and create a cozier feel within the bar, arcade game machines will be rearranged, allowing more elbow room and alternating one player vs. two player games so all can enjoy their time “at the stick”, and 20 classic board games will be added to Brewcade™ ’s roster of entertainment including Connect 4.

Brewcade™ will also feature an enclosed outdoor patio with custom-made furniture for 30 person seating on Market Street. The patio space will serve beer, wine and slushies as well as encourage guests to dine at the munchie bar or bring in takeout from neighboring partner Hi-Tops.

Additionally, the team has added a barrel-aged shot program for $5 per shot or $3 if guests wants to add the shot to a pint. The shot will consist of a combined shot of Cardamaro, Bonal, Shima Senryo Shochu, aged, bottled then served chilled.
